How to Use

For Aromatherapy

Add about 4-5 drops of Iryasa Patchouli oil for every 100ml (3.3 fl.oz) of water in a diffuser and enjoy its unique, herbaceous aroma that will help ease feelings of stress & insecurity.

You may need to increase/decrease the number of drops depending on the size of the room and where your diffuser is kept. For instance, you'd probably need less number of drops for a smaller or less ventilated room. Since the intensity of scents are such a personal preference, we recommend that you start with less and work your way up as needed.

For Topical Application

Patchouli oil has tremendous value in skincare. It helps soothe inflamed & sore skin. It can also help tighten loose skin especially after weight loss and post-delivery.

Dilute 4 drops of Iryasa Patchouli oil in 15ml (0.5 fl.oz) of Jojoba oil to make a 1% dilution.

Dilution Guide

Most websites/blogs mention about diluting essential oils before topical application. While this is correct, it is not sufficient!

Use the guide below to get started on your DIY blending journey.

Interpreting the charts

Step 1: As per age group, please take note of the recommended and maximum dilution percentages.

Step 2: Based on the amount of carrier oil, you can find the corresponding number of essential oil drops to be used to achieve the dilution you require e.g., for 1% dilution in 30ml of carrier oil, use 8 drops of same/different essential oils.

Precautions

Always perform a 24 hour period patch test at the recommended dilution levels or lesser, as per the age group to check for any allergic reaction or skin sensitivities.

While the dilution percentages work for most of our essential oils, we strongly recommend that you read the safety precautions listed for each oil before you craft the blend.
