How to Use

For Aromatherapy

Add about 4-5 drops of Iryasa Lemongrass oil for every 100ml (3.3 fl.oz) water in a diffuser. The herby, citrusy scent of this medicinal grass helps purify the air and remove bad odours, while reducing tension & uplifting your mood.

You may need to increase/decrease the number of drops depending on the size of the room and where your diffuser is kept. For instance, you'd probably need less number of drops for a smaller or less ventilated room. Since the intensity of scents are such a personal preference, we recommend that you start with less and work your way up as needed.

For Topical Application

When Lemongrass oil is applied topically, it cleanses the skin and helps repel mosquitoes & sandflies.

Dilute 4 drops of 100% pure Lemongrass oil in 15ml (0.5 fl.oz) of Sweet Almond oil or any other suitable carrier oil to make a 1% dilution.

Chirpiest of them all - Lemongrass!

I started with a purchase of 5 ml of lemongrass oil amongst others. Now followed up with buying 15 ml of the same. Why do i think we need more and specifically from Iryasa? Read on 1. I find the company principles clean and clear. Easy to purchase, no possible MLM troubles, and more importantly the amt of oil seems a continuous supply ( while an equivalent sized portion from another brand dried up in days!!) 2. Clean uplifting smell perfect for study room (mixed with ylang ylang) , and spray bottle use (mixed with others like lvendar or geranium) for others 3) i aint going back to usage of other non natural fragrances (as it is we use such for bathrooms only) , to protect immunity (so i think so be it) I have no plans now to switch from Iryasa to other brand in near future Best wishes to them!!

    Excellent experience

I recently came across Iryasa in Facebook and I signed up for a session with their aromatherapist. I wanted a natural solution for my 5 yr old son who often gets bitten by insects. As recommended by the aromatherapist, I created a blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Sweet Almond etc. I have been applying this blend on my son for the last one week and no more insect bites!

    Dilution Guide

Most websites/blogs mention about diluting essential oils before topical application. While this is correct, it is not sufficient!

Use the guide below to get started on your DIY blending journey.

    Interpreting the charts

Step 1: As per age group, please take note of the recommended and maximum dilution percentages.

Step 2: Based on the amount of carrier oil, you can find the corresponding number of essential oil drops to be used to achieve the dilution you require e.g., for 1% dilution in 30ml of carrier oil, use 8 drops of same/different essential oils.

    Precautions

Always perform a 24 hour period patch test at the recommended dilution levels or lesser, as per the age group to check for any allergic reaction or skin sensitivities.

While the dilution percentages work for most of our essential oils, we strongly recommend that you read the safety precautions listed for each oil before you craft the blend.
